Temporary Pennsylvania Shipping Update: FedEx Disruption May Affect Hiley Orders

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Hiley Mobility is currently experiencing a temporary FedEx shipping disruption affecting orders with delivery addresses in Pennsylvania.

Our shipping channel is temporarily unable to create new FedEx labels for Pennsylvania destinations. New orders may require additional processing time, while packages already in transit may experience delayed scans or updated delivery dates.

What Happened?

Severe storms and heavy rainfall affected central Pennsylvania on July 5 and July 6.

Local reports and FedEx confirmed that part of the FedEx Ground facility on Fulling Mill Road in Middletown experienced a partial structural collapse. The facility is located near Harrisburg and supports regional package processing. Damage inspections and operational adjustments are ongoing.

How This Affects Hiley Orders

New Pennsylvania Orders

Customers can continue placing orders on the Hiley Mobility website. However, orders shipping to Pennsylvania may remain in processing until FedEx label creation becomes available or another suitable shipping option is confirmed.

Orders Already in Transit

Packages already inside the FedEx network may continue moving through other facilities. Customers may see:

  • Delayed tracking updates
  • Longer gaps between scans
  • Revised delivery dates
  • Temporary holds or rerouting

A lack of recent tracking updates does not necessarily mean the package is lost.

Orders to Other States

Orders outside Pennsylvania are currently following Hiley’s normal shipping schedule. In stock orders usually leave our California warehouse within one to two business days, with an estimated transit time of two to six business days.

These estimates may not apply to Pennsylvania orders during the disruption.

Current FedEx Status

FedEx states that severe weather, power outages, and operational issues may affect pickup and delivery services. Customers can check the FedEx service alert page and track individual shipments for the latest information.

As of July 13, 2026, FedEx has not published a public notice confirming a complete suspension of all services across Pennsylvania. Hiley’s temporary restriction reflects the current status of the shipping channel available to our warehouse.

What Customers Should Do

Customers with a tracking number should continue checking the official FedEx tracking page. Tracking information may update more slowly while packages are rerouted or processed through other facilities.

Customers who have not yet received a tracking number do not need to place another order. Their original order will remain in our system while we monitor shipping availability.

For help, contact support@hileymobility.com and include your Hiley order number.

Hiley’s Response

Electric scooters are large, high value products that require suitable transportation and careful handling. We will avoid using a shipping route when reliable tracking and safe delivery cannot be confirmed.

Our logistics team is monitoring FedEx label availability, regional facility operations, packages already in transit, and possible alternative carrier options.

When Will Shipping Resume?

FedEx has not announced a confirmed recovery date for the affected Middletown facility. Hiley also cannot provide an exact date for Pennsylvania label creation to resume.

We will update this notice when the shipping channel reopens or a reliable alternative becomes available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.
