Beyond expectations....very stable, n solid strength

Just sent another request trying to get a refund on this item, it does not appear that they are interested in doing anything to help. Reviews here state that the damper does not allow full lock to lock steering and some versions do not allow proper mounting. I also got no response at all to resolve the steering detent not being centered, "telling the engineering department about it" doesn't do anything to fix the problem on my scooter. No more money will be spent with this company!!

The steering damper is a must! It feels strong and stable and smooth.. its a must if you want to go extreme on the scoot!!

Big improvement

The mounting design is poorly thought out, theres no second screw hole on the Tiger 10 V5 model so you have to diy it with washers with a narrower screw that goes into the front plastic mounting hole.

The steering angle is uneven between left and right (right is limited) because the damper is mounted on the deck instead of the lower stem joint as most other scooters do and the length is not optimal for accommodating full motion range. Way overpriced for this many shorcomings.

UPDATE: They agreed to a partial refund in the amount of 40$ for which Im giving back a star, however the fundamental issue remains the same. I used that money to order a longer aftermarket damper for testing, which solved the issue. At the very least they need to either make the mounting base longer or package a longer damper in the kit. But a total redesign with a custom stem base clamp mount would be the correct approach. That way it would avoid the deck screw issue and make it more compatible between models since KING RS, SUPRA and 10 V5 all have the same stem base joint while the deck screw pattern is the same only on the SUPRA and KING RS. They also should make mounting kit parts available for separate purchase so you can install your own damper on it. As a quick fix even a 13" should be enough. Im in the process of testing out some dampers, currently a 370mm (~14.6") does solve the problem but is otherwise too long and sticks out of the front too much. I reckon a 355mm should be just perfect.

I am looking forward for a stem base clamp mount redesign and urge them to consider its production.
